Overview

PROBAFLOR is a multi-strain probiotic food supplement developed by Giellepi S.p.A. It contains a proprietary combination of 11 probiotic strains designed to support intestinal health and maintain microbiota balance. The supplement is intended to modulate the intestinal microbiome and the gastrointestinal barrier to promote overall gut well-being. A randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trial (NCT06619067) was conducted to evaluate its efficacy in maintaining normal intestinal function and microbiota balance in healthy subjects, assessing outcomes through daily bowel habit diaries and stool sample analysis.
