Overview

probiotic blend-University of Tehran is a specific synbiotic formulation containing a combination of 12 probiotic strains and the prebiotic fructooligosaccharides (FOS). The blend includes various species of Lactobacillus (L. rhamnosus, L. plantarum, L. casei, L. helveticus, L. acidophilus, L. bulgaricus, and L. gasseri), Bifidobacterium (B. bifidum, B. lactis, B. breve, and B. longum), and Streptococcus thermophilus. Developed for research by the University of Tehran, it is primarily investigated for its effects on the gut-brain-microbiome axis.
