Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ProChondrix CR is a cryopreserved, fresh osteochondral allograft developed by AlloSource for the treatment of articular cartilage defects, particularly in the knee. As a biological tissue product, it contains live donor chondrocytes, an intact extracellular matrix, and native growth factors that support cartilage repair and restoration. The allograft is processed using proprietary ViaTrue cryopreservation technology, which maintains high cell viability (approximately 94%) for up to two years at -80°C. It is designed as a thin, flexible, laser-etched graft that can be contoured to fit various joint surfaces, such as the femoral condyle and patella. ProChondrix CR is marketed through a partnership between AlloSource and Stryker.
