Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Prodencel is an autologous dendritic cell vaccine developed as a therapeutic cancer vaccine targeting prostate cancer-specific antigens. It is designed to stimulate the patient's immune system to recognize and attack prostate cancer cells. The product uses the patient’s own dendritic cells that are exposed ex vivo to prostate cancer antigens and then re-administered as a personalized immunotherapy. Prodencel is being investigated for use in metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer and has reached Phase 1 clinical trials in China[1][2][3].
