**Progenitor Biological Bandages** are investigational, single-use combined advanced-therapy medicinal products developed at Lausanne University Hospital for topical management of burn wounds. The product consists of viable cultured allogeneic fetal dermal progenitor fibroblasts seeded onto a biodegradable collagen scaffold. It is intended to promote healing of split-thickness skin-graft donor-site wounds and second-degree partial-thickness burns through local paracrine release of cytokines and growth factors that support tissue repair and regeneration. In the registered Phase 1/2 Bru_PBB study, the product was evaluated against Jelonet for donor-site wounds and observed in second-degree burns; the study is listed as terminated.
