Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Project 1 is an investigational small molecule being developed by Chongqing Pharmaceutical (Chongqing Pharmaceutical Research Institute) for the treatment of triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC). Currently in the preclinical stage, the drug is designed to target the cell stress adaptive response, a biological mechanism that allows cancer cells to survive under conditions of metabolic, oxidative, or proteotoxic stress. By modulating these adaptive pathways, Project 1 aims to disrupt the survival advantages of aggressive TNBC cells, potentially inducing apoptosis or increasing their sensitivity to other therapeutic interventions. The specific molecular target within the stress response pathway has not been publicly disclosed.
