Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ProLNG-S is a cholesterol-conjugated derivative of resiquimod (R848), designed to function as a Toll-like receptor 7/8 (TLR7/8) agonist. It aims to enhance immune efficacy and reduce toxicity, particularly in the context of cancer vaccines. When formulated as ProLNG-001, a positively charged liposome, ProLNG-S effectively targets secondary lymphoid organs, leading to a robust systemic anti-tumor immune response and tumor-specific T cell activation. This mechanism is intended to prevent tumor progression and improve survival by stimulating both innate and adaptive immune responses through T cells.
