PROM202

PROM202 is a monoclonal antibody developed by Promittens, designed to target the Glycoprotein-A Repetitions Predominant (GARP) and Transforming Growth Factor Beta 1 (TGFB1) complex. GARP is a cell surface molecule that plays a critical role in the activation of latent TGF-β1, a potent immunosuppressive cytokine often upregulated in the tumor microenvironment. By binding to the GARP-TGFB1 complex, PROM202 prevents the release of active TGF-β1, thereby potentially reversing immune evasion and enhancing the efficacy of anti-tumor immune responses. The drug is currently in early-stage development for the treatment of various solid tumors.
