Overview

**ProMetS** is an investigational oral multi-strain probiotic formulation containing nine proprietary live, freeze-dried lactic acid bacterial strains, with at least 50 billion colony-forming units per sachet. It is intended to modulate the intestinal microbial ecosystem rather than act through a defined human molecular receptor. ProMetS has been studied in randomized clinical research for metabolic disease, including type 2 diabetes in the PREMOTE study and polycystic ovary syndrome, where it was administered as a 4 g oral powder once nightly for 12 weeks.
