Drug intelligence / Profile preview
PRONULIFE LvUCare is a multi-strain probiotic and postbiotic combination developed by Glac Biotech. The formulation consists of three live bacterial strains—*Lactobacillus fermentum* TSF331, *Lactobacillus reuteri* TSR332, and *Lactobacillus plantarum* TSP05—combined with the postbiotic Totipro PE0401. It is primarily developed to manage metabolic-associated fatty liver disease (MAFLD), hyperuricemia, and elevated liver enzymes. The combination works by modulating the gut-liver axis to reduce systemic inflammation and metabolic markers, specifically lowering serum levels of aspartate aminotransferase (AST), alanine aminotransferase (ALT), and uric acid. Clinical evidence from trial NCT06183801 demonstrated significant efficacy in improving liver function markers in patients with abnormal liver function and elevated uric acid.
