Overview
PRONULIFE RenaProtect is a clinically-proven probiotic blend developed by GLAC Biotech Co., Ltd. for kidney health and renal support. The formulation consists of three specific human-derived probiotic strains: *Lactobacillus acidophilus* TYCA06, *Bifidobacterium longum* subsp. *infantis* BLI-02, and *Bifidobacterium bifidum* VDD088. It is designed to modulate the gut-kidney axis, a mechanism that helps reduce the accumulation of uremic toxins and systemic pro-inflammatory cytokines such as Interleukin-6 (IL-6), Interleukin-18 (IL-18), and Tumor Necrosis Factor-alpha (TNF-α). Clinical studies in patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD) have demonstrated that the product can slow the decline of the estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) and improve the composition of the gut microbiota. It is marketed as a functional food ingredient or dietary supplement and is available in oral dosage forms including capsules, tablets, and powdered sachets.
