Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**Prosta-OK Neo + tamsulosin** is a combination drug product formulated for the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). This combination consists of tamsulosin (a selective alpha-1 adrenergic receptor antagonist) and the proprietary supplement Prosta-OK Neo (typically a multicomponent phytotherapeutic supplement targeting prostate health, though specific ingredients may vary by manufacturer and regional formulation). Tamsulosin acts by selective blockade of alpha-1A adrenergic receptors in the prostate and bladder neck, relaxing smooth muscle and improving urinary flow and BPH symptoms. Prosta-OK Neo commonly contains phytochemical agents such as saw palmetto (Serenoa repens), pumpkin seed oil, or other plant extracts, which may have mild antiandrogenic, anti-inflammatory, or antioxidant properties believed to support prostate health. The combination may be employed when monotherapy is insufficient and as an alternative to other combination therapies such as finasteride + tamsulosin or dutasteride + tamsulosin[6][1][2][4][5]. Primary indication is symptomatic BPH in men.
