Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ProstaSol is a multi-ingredient herbal dietary supplement developed by Dr. Ben Pfeifer for the complementary treatment of prostate cancer, including hormone-refractory cases. It contains a blend of plant-derived active ingredients, including flax seed lignans (LinumLife), sitosterols (Regrestrol), curcumin (BCM-95), saw palmetto, ginseng, Baikal skullcap, African prune tree, Reishi mushroom, and Japanese knotweed. The supplement is designed to reduce serum PSA levels and improve quality of life through phytoestrogenic, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and anti-carcinogenic mechanisms. While studied in clinical settings, it is not FDA-approved as a drug and is manufactured in the Netherlands following pharmaceutical standards for food supplements.
