Drug intelligence / Profile preview
The ViferaXS Prostate Cancer Program is an investigational immunotherapy that utilizes an off-the-shelf cell therapy in combination with a bispecific T-cell engager approach. This therapeutic strategy is designed to target three specific antigens frequently overexpressed in prostate cancer: Tenascin-C (specifically the 3C splice variant, TN3C), Prostate Stem Cell Antigen (PSCA), and Six-Transmembrane Epithelial Antigen of the Prostate 1 (STEAP1). By employing a bispecific combination, the therapy aims to recruit and activate T cells to recognize and eliminate tumor cells expressing these markers. The program is currently being evaluated in Phase 1/2 clinical trials for the treatment of prostate cancer.
