Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**Prostina** is a proprietary Ayurvedic formulation developed and marketed by Dey's Medical Stores. It is primarily indicated for the management of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and urinary tract infections (UTIs). The formulation is available in two variations: a traditional Ayurvedic blend containing Vapusha (*Juniperus communis*), Pravala (red coral), Purified Shilajit, Ushira (*Vetiveria zizanioides*), Chandan Oil (*Santalum album*), and Kababchini (*Piper cubeba*); and a modern dietary supplement version containing saw palmetto extract, pumpkin seed oil, lycopene, nettle root extract, cranberry extract, and zinc. Prostina works through the synergistic anti-inflammatory, diuretic, and antimicrobial properties of its constituents, helping to reduce prostate swelling, improve urinary flow, and alleviate symptoms of urinary tract discomfort.
