Prosturol

Prosturol is a medical device developed by Apogepha Arzneimittel GmbH for the symptomatic treatment of conditions affecting the prostate and anorectal canal. It is formulated as a rectal suppository containing a complex combination of plant-based ingredients, including pumpkin seeds, Indian pennywort (*Centella asiatica*), frankincense, straw flower, and Australian tea tree, along with vitamin E acetate and hyaluronic acid sodium salt. Prosturol is indicated for the soothing and softening local treatment of the anorectal canal in congestive conditions associated with acute and chronic prostatitis as well as benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH).
