Overview

ProTmune is an investigational programmed cellular immunotherapy developed as a next-generation hematopoietic cell graft for the prevention of acute graft-versus-host disease (GvHD) in patients undergoing allogeneic hematopoietic cell transplantation (HCT). The therapy is produced by pharmacologically modulating donor-sourced, mobilized peripheral blood ex vivo with two small molecules (FT1050 and FT4145) to enhance the biological properties and therapeutic function of immune cells. This process results in a T-cell compartment that is less allo-reactive, with decreased expression of costimulatory receptors, reduced production of pro-inflammatory cytokines, and increased production of anti-inflammatory cytokines such as IL-10. Preclinical studies have shown that these programmed cells can reduce GvHD severity while preserving cancer-fighting properties after adoptive transfer[1][5][7]. **Developer:** Fate Therapeutics
