Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Prozap StandGuard Pour-On is a veterinary insecticide developed and manufactured by Neogen Corporation for the control of horn flies and lice in beef cattle and calves. Its active ingredient is gamma-cyhalothrin, a potent small molecule pyrethroid. The product is a ready-to-use topical pour-on formulation applied along the backline of the animal. It provides season-long control of both chewing and sucking lice and is effective against horn flies at low doses. It is specifically indicated for beef cattle and is not recommended for use on dairy cattle or veal calves.
