Drug intelligence / Profile preview
PRP - RegenKit-BCT-3 Plus is an autologous platelet-rich plasma (PRP) preparation system developed by Regen Lab SA and evaluated by Boston Medical Group for the treatment of erectile dysfunction (ED). Prepared using the RegenKit BCT (Blood Cell Therapy) platform, the system utilizes three individually packaged tubes to isolate and concentrate platelets from a patient's peripheral blood, yielding a therapeutic PRP solution. Administered via intracavernous injection, the therapy delivers a high concentration of autologous growth factors—including VEGF, PDGF, TGF-β, FGF, and EGF—directly to the penile corpora cavernosa. These growth factors bind to their respective receptors to stimulate angiogenesis, tissue remodeling, and nerve regeneration, thereby restoring erectile function. The therapy is currently being evaluated in a Phase 3 randomized, placebo-controlled clinical trial in Spain for men with moderate or mild-to-moderate erectile dysfunction.
