Drug intelligence / Profile preview
The PRRS+PCV2+Myco combination is a trivalent subunit vaccine being developed by Reber Genetics for the prevention of co-infections in swine. The vaccine targets three major porcine pathogens: Porcine Reproductive and Respiratory Syndrome (PRRS) virus, Porcine Circovirus Type 2 (PCV2), and Mycoplasma (specifically *Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae*). Utilizing Reber Genetics' proprietary subunit technology, which is based on principles of cancer immunotherapy, the vaccine is designed to induce broad and effective protective immunity against these economically significant diseases that contribute to the Porcine Respiratory Disease Complex (PRDC). The product is currently in the preclinical stage of development.
