Target intelligence / Profile preview
Porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus (PRRSV) antigen refers to the viral proteins or epitopes derived from PRRSV. Key antigenic targets include structural proteins such as Glycoprotein 5 (GP5), Matrix protein (M), and Nucleocapsid protein (N), as well as nonstructural proteins like nsp1, nsp2, nsp4, nsp7, and NSP11. These antigens elicit both humoral and cellular immune responses and are used in diagnostics and vaccine development. NSP11 is also explored as a drug target.
