Drug intelligence / Profile preview
PRRSExoVac (also referred to as PrrsvExoVac) is a preclinical-stage veterinary vaccine developed by Innovex Therapeutics for the prevention of Porcine Reproductive and Respiratory Syndrome Virus (PRRSV) infection in swine. The vaccine utilizes a novel modality consisting of serum-derived exosomes formulated with a Montanide adjuvant. Its mechanism of action involves leveraging these exosomes to induce robust humoral (antibody) and cellular (CD8+ T-cell) immune responses against PRRSV, a significant pathogen that causes substantial economic losses in the global swine industry.
