PRRSV vaccine

Ciloa's PRRSV vaccine is an experimental veterinary biologic currently in preclinical development for the prevention of Porcine Reproductive and Respiratory Syndrome (PRRS). The vaccine utilizes Ciloa's proprietary small extracellular vesicle (sEV) platform, which involves engineering cells to secrete exosomes that display specific PRRSV antigens on their surface. This approach is designed to mimic the natural presentation of viral proteins to the immune system, potentially inducing a more effective and safer immune response compared to traditional live-attenuated or inactivated vaccines.
