PRS-110 is an Anticalin-based therapeutic protein antagonist targeting the receptor tyrosine kinase MET (c-Met), developed by Pieris using its engineered human lipocalin scaffold platform for oncology indications. It is a monovalent, “pure” MET antagonist that binds MET with high affinity and specificity, blocks hepatocyte growth factor (HGF) binding, and inhibits both ligand-dependent and ligand-independent MET signaling, leading to suppression of MET phosphorylation and downstream oncogenic pathways in MET-dependent tumor models.[14][19] Preclinical studies have demonstrated potent antitumor activity, and PRS-110 has also been explored as the targeting moiety for next-generation PET imaging agents (e.g., 89Zr-PRS-110) for in vivo visualization of MET expression, reflecting its dual potential as a therapeutic and imaging modality.[10][13]
