Overview

PRS-332 is a preclinical-stage **bispecific antibody** designed as a dual immune checkpoint inhibitor for oncology indications. It consists of an anti-PD-1 (programmed cell death protein 1) antibody genetically linked to an Anticalin protein targeting CD223 (LAG3, lymphocyte activation gene 3 protein), enabling simultaneous inhibition of PD-1 and LAG3 pathways on exhausted T cells[1][3][5][7][9]. This approach aims to enhance T-cell activation and antitumor immune responses by overcoming two key inhibitory checkpoints, which could yield therapeutic benefits in solid tumors resistant to single-agent immune checkpoint inhibitors. Originally developed by Pieris Pharmaceuticals, PRS-332 was partnered for global development with Servier in 2017; however, this agreement has since been terminated, and Palvella Therapeutics is now listed as the developer following the merger with Pieris[1][5][7][9][14]. Development has not advanced past the preclinical phase as of the latest updates.
