Overview

PRT-002 is a small molecule developed by Protai, functioning as a proteolysis-targeting chimera (PROTAC) that targets and inhibits lysine acetyltransferase 6A (KAT6A) and lysine acetyltransferase 6B (KAT6B). These enzymes play a crucial role in epigenetic regulation. The drug is currently in preclinical development for various neoplasms, including estrogen receptor positive breast cancer, and for skin and musculoskeletal diseases.
