Prunella Oral Liquid (Xiakucao Oral Liquid) is a traditional Chinese herbal medicine developed and manufactured by Guiyang Xintian Pharmaceutical. The preparation is derived from the spikes of *Prunella vulgaris L.*, containing bioactive components such as polysaccharides and pentacyclic triterpenoids. It is primarily indicated for the treatment of thyroid-related conditions, including benign thyroid nodules and goiters, as well as lymphadenitis and breast hyperplasia. In clinical practice, it is often used as an adjuvant therapy alongside levothyroxine or methimazole to reduce nodule size and improve clinical outcomes. The drug is currently undergoing Phase 4 post-marketing evaluation to further establish its efficacy and safety profile specifically for benign thyroid nodules.
