Overview

PRX404 is a preclinical-stage therapeutic candidate being developed by Prazer Therapeutics in collaboration with Daewon Pharmaceutical. The drug is based on Prazer's proprietary SPiDEM (Selective Protein Degradation via E3-ligase Modulation) platform, which is a targeted protein degradation (TPD) technology. SPiDEM-mediated degradation involves the selective recruitment of E3 ubiquitin ligases to target proteins, facilitating their ubiquitination and subsequent degradation by the proteasome. As of 2024, PRX404 is in the lead optimization phase of development. While the specific biological target and primary therapeutic indications for PRX404 remain undisclosed, the program represents a strategic partnership to advance novel degrader therapies.
