Drug intelligence / Profile preview
PS28zT2 is a chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy being developed by Wellington Zhaotai for the treatment of solid tumors, including pancreatic cancer, lung cancer, and gastric cancer. The therapy utilizes a CAR construct targeting Prostate Stem Cell Antigen (PSCA), a cell surface glycoprotein frequently overexpressed in these malignancies. The construct incorporates a CD28 co-stimulatory domain and a CD3-zeta signaling domain (28z) to enhance T-cell activation and persistence. Currently in the preclinical stage, PS28zT2 aims to leverage the specificity of PSCA targeting to provide a potent immunotherapy option for patients with advanced solid tumors.
