PSB114 (also known as QLP2117) is a glycoengineered monoclonal antibody developed by Sound Biologics that targets C-C chemokine receptor type 8 (CCR8). It is specifically designed to selectively deplete CCR8-positive regulatory T cells (Tregs) within the tumor microenvironment through enhanced antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC). By reducing the immunosuppressive activity of these Tregs, PSB114 aims to restore and boost anti-tumor immune responses. The drug is currently being evaluated in Phase 1/2 clinical trials for the treatment of various solid tumors, often in combination with immune checkpoint inhibitors to modulate the tumor microenvironment and enhance therapeutic efficacy.
