Overview

PSBBzT2 is a chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy candidate being developed by Wellington Zhaotai for the treatment of solid tumors, including pancreatic, lung, and gastric cancers. The therapy targets the Prostate Stem Cell Antigen (PSCA), a cell surface protein that is frequently overexpressed in these malignancies. The CAR construct incorporates a 4-1BB (CD137) co-stimulatory domain and a CD3 zeta signaling domain, which are intended to enhance the activation, proliferation, and persistence of the engineered T-cells within the tumor microenvironment. PSBBzT2 is currently in the preclinical stage of development and utilizes the company's proprietary T2 platform.
