Overview

PSC23 is an experimental in vivo CAR-T cell therapy being developed by PersonGen BioTherapeutics. It is part of the company's GT/MST (Gene Therapy / Multi-Specific T-cell) platform, which focuses on the direct in vivo genetic reprogramming of a patient's endogenous T cells. PSC23 is designed to target both CD19 and CD22 antigens, which are commonly expressed on the surface of malignant B cells. By utilizing a bispecific chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) construct, the therapy aims to reduce the risk of antigen escape and improve therapeutic outcomes in patients with B-cell malignancies, such as B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (B-ALL) and B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma (B-NHL). Unlike traditional ex vivo CAR-T therapies, PSC23 is intended to be administered directly to the patient, potentially simplifying the manufacturing process and reducing the time to treatment.
