PSCA SIR-T is an investigational cell therapy being developed by Angeles Therapeutics for the treatment of solid tumors expressing Prostate Stem Cell Antigen (PSCA). The therapy utilizes the company's proprietary Synthetic Immune Receptor (SIR) technology, which involves engineering T-cells to express a synthetic receptor designed to mimic the natural T-cell receptor (TCR) complex more closely than traditional CAR-T architectures. This SIR-T approach aims to provide more physiological signaling, enhanced T-cell persistence, and improved efficacy within the immunosuppressive microenvironment of solid tumors. The program is currently in the IND-enabling stage of development, with primary potential indications including prostate cancer and other PSCA-positive malignancies.
