Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**PSMA-CAR-TNK** is an investigational, off-the-shelf CAR-engineered natural killer cell therapy developed through a collaboration between Conkwest and Sorrento Therapeutics. It uses Conkwest's NK-92-derived Neukoplast cell line engineered with a chimeric antigen receptor designed to recognize prostate-specific membrane antigen, a tumor-associated cell-surface target commonly expressed in prostate cancer and other solid tumors. The product concept was part of the companies' CAR-TNK program, combining NK-92 effector-cell biology with Sorrento-derived antibody and CAR technologies to generate scalable allogeneic antitumor cell therapies.
