PSMA-targeted OC-IgT is an autologous chimeric antigen receptor T-cell (CAR-T) therapy developed by the Shenzhen Geno-Immune Medical Institute in collaboration with Shenzhen People's Hospital. It consists of patient-derived T lymphocytes genetically engineered to express a chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) targeting prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA; glutamate carboxypeptidase 2). PSMA is highly expressed on the tumor-associated neovasculature of various solid tumors, including ovarian cancer. Upon infusion, these modified T cells specifically recognize and eliminate PSMA-expressing ovarian cancer cells. The therapy has been evaluated in Phase 1 clinical trials in China for the treatment of recurrent or refractory ovarian cancer.
