Drug intelligence / Profile preview
PSORI-CM01 decoction is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) herbal formulation developed by the Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Chinese Medicine (originally formulated by Xuan Guowei) for the treatment of psoriasis vulgaris. It is an optimized and simplified version of the 10-herb "Yinxieling" formula, containing seven active herbal ingredients: Radix Paeoniae Rubra (red peony root), Smoked Plum (Prunus mume), Chloranthus spicatus, Radices Lithospermi (Arnebia euchroma), Curcuma zedoaria, Rhizoma Smilacis Glabrae, and Glycyrrhiza uralensis (licorice). PSORI-CM01 is designed to promote blood circulation, remove blood stasis, and cool and detoxify the blood. It has been shown to inhibit keratinocyte proliferation, downregulate cyclin B2, and modulate inflammatory pathways such as the Th17/IL-23 axis and PI3K/Akt/mTOR signaling.
