PSTC100

PSTC100 is a long-acting recombinant fibroblast growth factor 21 (FGF21) analog being developed by Prospect Therapeutics (Nanjing) Limited. FGF21 is a metabolic hormone that plays a critical role in regulating glucose and lipid metabolism, enhancing insulin sensitivity, and reducing hepatic fat accumulation. PSTC100 is primarily investigated for the treatment of metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis (MASH), formerly known as non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH). By activating the FGFR1c/β-Klotho receptor complex, the drug aims to reduce liver inflammation and fibrosis while improving systemic metabolic parameters. It is currently in early-stage clinical development, with Phase I trials evaluating its safety, tolerability, and pharmacokinetics in healthy adult subjects.
