Drug intelligence / Profile preview
PSV Personalized Oncolytic Viruses is an oncolytic virus therapy developed by EpicentRx, Inc. It is designed to selectively infect and replicate within cancer cells, leading to their destruction (oncolysis). Beyond direct tumor cell killing, PSV also stimulates a robust anti-tumor immune response by releasing tumor antigens and danger signals, effectively acting as an in situ vaccine. This dual mechanism aims to eliminate cancer cells and prime the immune system to target remaining tumor cells. It is being investigated for patients with advanced cancers who have exhausted standard treatments like chemotherapy and immunotherapy.
