PT-112 + docetaxel

PT-112 + docetaxel is a combination therapy comprised of two distinct drugs: PT-112, a novel small molecule platinum-pyrophosphate conjugate, and docetaxel, a well-established taxane chemotherapeutic agent. PT-112 induces immunogenic cell death (ICD) of cancer cells through inhibition of ribosomal biogenesis, resulting in endoplasmic reticulum and mitochondrial stress, thereby stimulating anti-cancer immune responses and potentially enhancing responsiveness to other therapies. Docetaxel disrupts microtubule function and inhibits cell division.
