PT-3

PT-3 is an oral GLP-1 receptor agonist being developed by Imagine Pharma for the treatment of Type 2 Diabetes. The drug utilizes Imagine Pharma's proprietary oral biologic delivery platform based on their novel IMG-1 polypeptide technology, which enables injectable biologic drugs to be administered orally. PT-3 is part of Imagine Pharma's Oral Delivery platform and represents one of the company's programs aimed at completing pre-clinical studies and IND submittal for oral GLP-1 receptor agonists. The drug is designed to engage the GLP-1 receptor and improve glycemic control in patients with Type 2 Diabetes through oral administration, addressing the challenge of delivering biologic peptides that would normally be degraded in the digestive system.
