Overview

PT157 is a preclinical-stage small molecule drug developed by Palisades Therapeutics (operating as Pop Test Oncology LLC). It is a potent dimer of PT150 that functions as a dual glucocorticoid receptor (GR) and androgen receptor (AR) antagonist/modulator. PT157 demonstrates enhanced efficacy with lower required dosages compared to its parent compound PT150. The drug is being developed for multiple cancer indications including treatment-resistant prostate cancer, pancreatic cancer, and glioblastoma. In preclinical studies, PT157 has shown anti-metastatic activity in AR/GR-driven prostate cancer models and has been tested for reducing chemotherapy resistance in pancreatic cancer. The compound operates through multiple mechanisms including dual AR/GR antagonism, metabolic reprogramming, and anti-inflammatory action. PT157 is part of Palisades Therapeutics' proprietary platform of novel glucocorticoid and androgen receptor modulators.
