PTB700

PTB700 is a preclinical-stage molecular glue degrader being developed by Protier Biotech. It is specifically designed to serve as a payload for antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) to facilitate the targeted protein degradation (TPD) of G1 to S phase transition 1 (GSPT1). GSPT1 is a translation termination factor that plays a critical role in cell survival; its degradation leads to the induction of apoptosis in cancer cells. By utilizing PTB700 as an ADC payload, the therapeutic approach aims to combine the high specificity of monoclonal antibodies with the potent anti-tumor activity of GSPT1 degradation, with a primary focus on treating multiple myeloma.
