Drug intelligence / Profile preview
PTC-2113 is a preclinical-stage mitochondrial-targeted geropeptide being developed by Eos Senolytix for the treatment of obesity and glucose metabolic disorders. Powered by the proprietary MitoXcel™ technology platform, PTC-2113 is designed to target the age-associated decline in mitochondrial membrane potential (MMP, ΔΨm). Specifically, PTC-2113 acts via 'Mechanism 1' of the platform, which rapidly restores mitochondrial efficiency in aging cells, shifting them toward a youthful energetic phenotype and enhancing ATP production. This approach aims to improve metabolic health and body composition without directly targeting muscle or fat regulatory pathways.
