PtC10 refers to two distinct experimental small molecule compounds primarily investigated for the treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). The first is a **platinum(IV) prodrug** derived from oxaliplatin, modified with decyl (C10) axial ligands to enhance lipophilicity. It functions as an inhibitor of the **Heat Shock Protein 90 (HSP90)** network, leading to G2 phase cell cycle arrest and the simultaneous suppression of oncogenic signaling pathways, including RAS/MAPK and PI3K-AKT. Both entities are currently in the preclinical stage of development.
