Overview
PTI-00703 is a proprietary botanical extract derived from the Amazonian vine *Uncaria tomentosa* (cat's claw), specifically enriched for polyphenols and proanthocyanidins, with proanthocyanidin B2 as a major active constituent. Developed by Cognitive Clarity Inc., it is designed to target the accumulation of beta-amyloid plaques and tau protein tangles, which are associated with age-related cognitive decline and Alzheimer's disease. Preclinical research indicates that PTI-00703 can inhibit the formation of these aggregates and facilitate the dissolution of pre-existing plaques and tangles. It is currently marketed as a key ingredient in the dietary supplement Percepta for memory support and brain health.
