Drug intelligence / Profile preview
PTI-103 is a preclinical-stage drug delivery system developed by Postsurgical Therapeutics for the local, postsurgical targeted therapy of cancer. It utilizes a proprietary poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid) (PLGA) platform, which can be formulated as either microspheres or an in-situ gel. The system is designed for implantation or local delivery at the site of tumor resection to provide sustained release of anticancer agents, aiming to eliminate residual cancer cells and prevent local recurrence. As of the latest reports, PTI-103 has completed non-GLP efficacy animal testing.
