Drug intelligence / Profile preview
PTT-OV001 is an investigational oncolytic virus therapy being developed by the Langfang Campus of Cancer Hospital, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, for the treatment of advanced, unresectable, or metastatic solid tumors. As an oncolytic virus, it is designed to selectively infect, replicate within, and lyse malignant cells, thereby releasing tumor-associated antigens and promoting an immunogenic environment. It is administered via local injection (intratumoral) and is currently undergoing Phase 1 clinical evaluation in China as both a monotherapy and in combination with PD-1 checkpoint inhibitors for patients who have exhausted standard therapeutic options.
