PTX-106 is a personalized mRNA-based cancer vaccine developed by Providence Therapeutics. It utilizes the company's proprietary mRNA platform to encode neoantigens specific to an individual patient's tumor, identified through genomic sequencing. The vaccine is designed to prime and expand the patient's T-cell repertoire to recognize and eliminate cancer cells expressing these unique mutations. This personalized approach aims to overcome the limitations of 'off-the-shelf' therapies by targeting the specific mutational landscape of each malignancy. PTX-106 is currently in the IND-enabling (Pre-IND) stage of development for personalized cancer treatment.
