Drug intelligence / Profile preview
PTX_V3 is a preclinical, next-generation therapeutic mRNA cancer vaccine being developed by pHion Therapeutics for the treatment of prostate cancer. It is formulated using pHion’s proprietary RALA peptide-based delivery platform, which condenses anionic nucleic acids such as mRNA or self-amplifying RNA into nanoparticles that efficiently enter cells and elicit potent antigen-specific CD8+ T-cell responses, while offering advantages in scalability and room-temperature stability over conventional mRNA delivery systems.[6][8] PTX_V3 is part of a broader oncology-focused pipeline of therapeutic vaccines built on the RALA platform and is designed as an immunostimulatory vaccine to generate anti-tumor immunity in prostate cancer.[6][7][8]
