Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**Puerxikang** (普尔喜康) is an investigational therapeutic human papillomavirus type 16 (HPV16) recombinant adenoviral vector vaccine developed by Zhejiang Pukang Biotechnology. It is designed to treat persistent HPV16 infection and associated cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN), specifically grade 1 or 2 (CIN1/CIN2). The vaccine utilizes a recombinant adenoviral vector to deliver HPV16-specific antigens (such as E6 and E7 oncoproteins), stimulating a targeted cellular immune response to clear HPV16-infected cells and promote lesion regression. Puerxikang is currently being evaluated in Phase 1 clinical trials in China as a potential non-surgical therapeutic option for women with persistent HPV16 infection and CIN1/CIN2.
